September 2023 Foundation Intake

Applying for a place at St Leonard's Primary School

When and how to apply for your child to start in the reception year at St Leonard's Primary School.

• If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 they are due to start primary school in September 2023.
• Applications for Primary School Admissions open in November 2022 and close in January 2023.
• Applications are made via the Devon Citizen Portal using this link Devon County Applications Page
• The date that all allocations of school places are announced in England is known as ‘Offer day’. For September 2023 primary school starters this will be in April 2023. More information can be found on the Devon County Council admissions webpage.
