We are looking to appoint a Parent Support Advisor who is able to reduce underachievement by working in partnership with families, parents, carers and pupils in a school context to enable pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and overcome barriers to learning and participation.

 

It is anticipated that you will have substantial experience of working with parents and school safeguarding procedures, together with experience of how to remove social and emotional barriers to leaning, be able to identify and flag support services and referral routes and have a good knowledge of the government change agenda.

 

As a Deputy DSL you will have experience of attending Strategy meetings, manage MASH referrals, attending Family Group Conferences and evidence of excellent record keeping, together with raising the awareness of safeguarding as a continually high priority in school.
