St Leonard's C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 1 teacher who will teach two days a week (on a Monday and Tuesday) to cover a maternity leave. The role will start in September 2023 and last approximately two terms.

PPA Cover Supervisor (HLTA)
Responsible to: Assistant Headteacher
Hours: 27.5 hrs per week (Tuesday – Friday)
Contract Term: permanent
Number of weeks: 38 weeks (holidays to be taken out of term time)
Salary: £25,409 per annum FTE

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in working across our entire primary setting and to make a difference to the provision and delivery of the curriculum. Contract Term: permanent, starting in September 2023
Hours: 31 hours per week: 8:25am – 3:05pm (includes a 30 min lunch duty, a 30 min lunch break)
Salary: SC-2. NJC points 3-5. Salary £20,812 - £21,575 FTE Actual £14,680 - £15,218
Term Time only – 38 weeks per annum
Annual Leave: Taken outside of term time and paid pro-rata throughout the year (no annual leave to be taken during term time)

Your role will be to support the learning of different pupils within a Reception or Year 1 Class, supporting children with SEND needs, assisting classes and running small group activities. You will have had some previous experience in working with children and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike, encouraging everyone to be the ‘best that they can be’.
