This week we are concentrating on the sound j spelt with the letters dge.  There is another alternative ge so you might want to discuss that one too but we haven't included that one in with the lessons just yet. 

Lesson 1:  Video with Mrs Viney - j as the phoneme (sound) and j as the grapheme (written letter).

Lesson 2: Video with Mrs Viney - j as the phoneme (sound) but with the alternative spelling dge.

Lesson 3: Matching the words to the pictures and (as an extension) reading the sentences and choosing the correct spellings.
