Our Breakfast Club is available to all children who attend at St Leonard’s Primary School Mon-Fri from 7.30am to the start of the school day.
The club operates five days a week, Monday – Friday, 7.30-8.25am (term-time only). The Breakfast Club takes place in the community cafe which is accessed only through the After School Club entrance at the front of the school. KS1 Children are taken to their class at 8.25am and KS2 children are allowed to make their own way to their classroom.
A healthy breakfast is served including an option of toast, cereal, fruit, milk and water.
Breakfast club children enjoy a wide range of activities, from card games and reading, which encourage a calm and yet stimulating start to the morning. (No computers, TV or iPads!)
The cost is £3.50 per child per session and £2.50 for each additional sibling, payable at time of booking, to the school office. You can pay by cheque, cash or through ParentPay. This is a standard charge per session irrelevant of time you arrive between 7.30am and 8.25am.
The Breakfast Club is limited to 20 pupils, but we have an additional few spaces available for emergency last minute requirements. Bookings need to be made weekly in advance and providing there are spaces, your child may join us. All bookings and payments need to go via the school office and we must have payments in advance of sessions. Booking forms are available from the school office.
If you require any further information please don’t hesitate to contact Tyna Crow in the school office.
Thank you for your continued support.
Childcare Manager, Ellen Gray, manages the club supported by a great team of friendly, highly trained staff.
Our minimum requirements of them are:
ð DBS checked
ð NVQ level 2 and 3 in Play Work/Qualification in Childcare
You can identify our members of staff by looking at their photo on the notice board by the Club entrance.
Every child knows which staff member is keeping a special eye on them and can talk to them with any problems, though we do emphasise that your child can approach any member of staff with problems if they need to.
